PPM400 Panel Mount Connector (400 Hz)
The PPM400 panel mount connector (400 Hz) provides a safe and robust connectorised solution for cable exiting enclosures. Configured to meet customer requirements, it is low maintenance and impact resistant.
- High conductivity copper contacts. Power silver plated and Controls gold plated
- Connector sealed to IP66/IP67 when engaged (filler not required)
- Suitable for a wide range of composite and single core cables
- External components manufactured from impact resistant thermally stable polymers
- Exterior handle/strain relief system
- Provided with A, B, C & N power contacts and up to 24 control contacts
- Optional cover & socket protection cap
- Polarity can be reversed using control control for first break last mate to ensure safety
- Nominal voltage: 1115/200 V, 400 Hz
- Current carrying capacity: 450 A (power), 35 A (control)
- Current overload: 1500 A for 1 minute (power)
- High voltage test: 4000 V
- Operating temperature: – -25°C to +90°C (includes temperature rise)
- Mating forces: As per BS 4G 173
